The End of Ar tonelico Trilogy

I’m a little late and should have blogged this months ago when the game was released. “Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel” was the final game in the Ar tonelico trilogy released on PS3.

I wouldn’t recommend this unless you played the first two that are on PS2 since this game has many characters and references from the past games and it can be confusing if you play this first.

I have already beaten the game and I felt that the battle system in this is too simple, had terrible framerate and kinda repetitive. Unlike the first two games that used turn-based battle system, this one used real-time which I don’t think it fits the series… This is also the only game in the series that use 3D graphics. While the characters in this are likeable (…thank god) but I still find the ones from the first game being my favorites so far. Soundtrack is a little weak but the hymn songs are really well done.

And this is NISA’s packaging for the game, very similar to Hyperdimension Neptunia’s premium edition. Comes with an artbook and mini soundtrack.
