Taiko no Tatsujin Portable DX

Was having a blast with “Taiko no Tatsujin Portable DX” this afternoon after picking it up in Funz Centre. Game included a story mode this time round and new features such as customizing Don-chan with different colors and costumes.

Up to 70 songs are already included in the UMD yet I find the lack of anime songs slightly disappointing. Below is a clear image of every tracks that were included. Macross Frontier Opening 2 “Lion” and the Hannibal’s battle theme from God Eater Bursts are some of my favorite tracks in this.

In the UMD case, a code given to download one of the song DLCs. There’s already a bunch of song DLCs available on the Japanese PSN store. So far, there’s a couple of anime songs, but those cost 150 yen. Only a handful of DLCs were free though.

Additionally, I was given this blue card when I bought my game. All it did was giving me another code for another song DLC…

I think those who enjoy the first 2 Taiko no Tatsujin Portable games will like this. Similar to the previous games, this doesn’t have Data Install but the loading time had been shorten drastically, making this game more enjoyable.
I guess for now, I’ll be trying to unlock the Oni difficulty before tackling story mode.

Lastly, Happy 10th Anniversary! Taiko no Tatsujin. :)
