First place my brother and I went, Akihabara. We literally spent nearly an entire day there exploring and checking out most of the shops.
Note that I won’t be covering everything of what I saw though because eventually, I will have the entire photos uploaded to my Google Plus.
Kotobukiya Akihabarakan was one of the buildings we went.
I was really surprised to see a Tales of Shop. It’s located on the 2nd floor. Most of the merchandises are either Xillia 2 characters or goodies from the previous few Tales of Festival events.
The upcoming Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack on display.
Besides this, there’s plenty more to check out in this building, like the 4th floor being used as a Kotobukiya Showroom.
Another place I visited is called Super Potato. This wonderful shop sells all kinds of retros games, including used consoles and stuffs like game soundtracks. Some of the prices are pretty good deals too.
Super Potato even had a mini retro game arcade at the top floor.
And while we were exploring around Akihabara, it’s started to rain not long past noon. The rain was rather small so it didn’t affect us anyway.
Also checked out some of the arcade buildings, like Club Sega for example.
The arcades here are very different compared to Singapore. Generally the whole building itself is an arcade, so it’s really big. And people are allowed to smoke in them while playing their games.
I’ll be showing a bit of the mini anime museums held on the several floors of Akihabara Gamers building on my next post.
